Since my real love is science fiction, the other wordpress theme didn’t seem to fit any more. I’m keeping the name though.

So, I might have players again! (Yes, I’m that truly weird mythological creature, the female GM) It’s been so long since I’ve been able to run a game that I’m having trouble knowing where to start. A few things have already made it to my to-do list: create custom character sheets (The basic ones provided are ok to start with but long-term? No.), decide pre-generated vs player-made characters, sort my volumes of paper from old games for things of possible use in this one…. Did you notice that come up with story and create a game aren’t in the list? That part always seems easy!

First, I’m sorry I was gone so long. My family and I moved on 6 days notice. I spent most of the week packing and still haven’t unpacked everything! Took a bit to get internet and since we’re using cable, still don’t have a real phone! I hate moving!

There’s this great little utility for Firefox out there called Stumble Upon! Basically, you enter some preferred topics, hit the button and it takes you to sites you’ve never seen before. So, I’m Stumbling my happy way around the internet, and I keep getting these cool gaming ideas! I’ve been running games in various genres from a myriad of systems for 24+ years now so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. If you game for that long, seeing things in that kind of context is like breathing. You just Do It.
